2015 Playoff's

Dates:

-Monday August 31st – Sunday September 13th

Format:

-Every team will play a minimum of 4 games

-Championship games will be played on Sunday September 13th

-Round Robin Games 1hr or 5 innings in length (whichever one comes first).

-Championship game will be 1hr15mins or 7 innings (whichever one comes first).

Rules:

-Make sure your team arrives 15mins ahead of time. Games start on the hour. If you are unable to field a minimum of 9 players on the hour, this will be considered a forfeit.

-NO warm-up will be permitted on the diamond. Warm up can be done outside the

diamond behind the stands.

-Only players listed on the roster card, sent to you by the league, are eligible to play. NO spares allowed during the playoff.

-Home team is determined by the highest ranked team based on the season results.

-Games are played rain or shine, however if a game must be called due to heavy rain/unsafe to play, game will be rescheduled between Friday September 11th & Sunday September 27th.

-Points are determined as follow:

-WIN=2pts

-TIE=1pts

-LOST=0pts

-Tie breaker (to determine the top 2 teams) will be determined by teams +/- during the playoffs.

-If still tied, winner of head to head game will determine top team.

-BOTH captains are required to submit their game sheet via scan/email or picture/text within 24hrs of game time to hammondslopitch@gmail.com or Mel @ 613.913.3956

Sat Sept 12th:

BBQ lunch/dinner will be offered by the Hammond Slopitch Committee from 11am – 6pm. All proceeds will go towards the 2016 season.

We encourage teams to come out and cheer on all teams. Let’s see if we can fill the stands for the championship games.
